Melrose and Daufuskie Island also offers activities for the whole family. Golfers can bring their families over to Daufuskie to enjoy the Beach Club at Melrose while they are on the course. The Beach Club is oceanfront and offers 3 pools for the family's enjoyment. Also, cart rentals are available for the family to enjoy and explore the nature and history of our unique island.

Enjoy a self guided tour of historic Daufuskie,
one of Hilton Head's barrier islands, at your own pace. Experience a direct
trip on our Zodiac boats leaving Harbour Town, Hilton Head's premier marina. Crossing Calibogue Sound, your adventure begins
as you get an opportunity to see the area's Bottle Nose Dolphins. Setting foot on Daufuskie Island, step back in time as you
take command of your rented golf cart and view the island at your leisure.
Melrose Golf Club and Daufuskie Island offer the golfer a very unique golfing experience.
Melrose features a Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course that plays through the island's wooded terrain,
salt marshes and beachfront. The last 3 holes have breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean as well as
Hilton Head Island and Tybee Island. Number 18, Melrose's signature hole, is a split fairway par 5 that
plays along the beachfront and culminates a peninsula green with with Hilton Head and Harbour Town as its backdrop.
